SECRET SPOTS
Outdoor Parkour Adventures
Take Parkour out of the gym and into the wild.
Secret Spots is an outdoor Parkour adventure series where athletes train in some of Northern California’s most interesting natural environments: river canyons, granite boulder fields, forests, lakeshores, hidden trails, and other locations that turn the landscape itself into the obstacle course.
Each adventure explores a different destination and a different style of movement. Athletes learn to adapt Parkour fundamentals to uneven terrain, rocks, trees, slopes, natural gaps, elevation changes, and unexpected obstacles.
But this isn't just an outdoor Parkour class.
Every Secret Spots workshop includes an Adventure Challenge designed to test creativity, teamwork, endurance, problem-solving, and the ability to move confidently through unfamiliar terrain.
ALL-AGES ADVENTURE
1:00 PM–4:00 PM
Perfect for kids, teens, adults, and families who want to experience Parkour outside the gym.
15+ EXTENDED EXPEDITION
1:00 PM–9:00 PM
Athletes ages 15+ can continue after the main workshop for an additional movement session, dinner with the group, and an optional evening bathhouse or mineral soak.
Bath admission, meals, parking, and other destination entrance fees are not included.
SAMPLE ADVENTURE ITINERARY
1:00 PM — Meet at The PPAC
Check-in, warm-up, gear check, and safety orientation. Coaches introduce the terrain, environmental considerations, and movement focus for the day.
1:15 PM — Depart for the Secret Spot
Caravan to the day's training destination.
2:00 PM — Outdoor Parkour Workshop
Learn how Parkour changes when we leave predictable gym equipment behind. We'll explore natural movement using rocks, trees, slopes, trails, boulders, logs, and whatever challenges the environment gives us.
3:00 PM — Adventure Challenge
Put those skills to work. Challenges may include route finding, team missions, movement puzzles, endurance challenges, silent movement, obstacle navigation, or creating original Parkour lines through the landscape.
4:00 PM — Family Workshop Wrap-Up
The all-ages portion of the adventure ends. Younger athletes head home tired, dirty, and hopefully carrying at least one story they'll tell repeatedly.
15+ EXTENDED EXPEDITION
4:30 PM — Advanced Movement Session
Teens and adults continue with a second training session featuring more challenging terrain, longer movement lines, conditioning, exploration, and advanced creative movement.
5:30 PM — Dinner
We head somewhere casual nearby to eat, recover, and hang out as a group.
Bring money for dinner.
7:00–9:00 PM — Optional Bathhouse / Mineral Soak
Finish the expedition by slowing everything down.
Depending on the destination, we may visit a mineral bath, hot soak, sauna, cold plunge, or other recovery destination where the group can relax after a full day of movement.
Bath admission is optional and purchased separately. Bring money for entry.
EVERY SECRET SPOT IS DIFFERENT
One month we might be navigating granite boulders beside a river.
Another might involve forest Parkour, lake exploration, snow challenges, swimming, cliff-side terrain, or an outdoor team expedition.
Locations are selected based on weather, seasonal conditions, safety, and what makes the best adventure that month.
WHAT TO BRING
Athletic clothes appropriate for the weather, sturdy athletic shoes, plenty of water, lunch/snacks, a small backpack, and a change of clothes.
For extended expeditions, bring money for dinner and the optional bath/soak experience.
Specific equipment and destination details will be sent before each adventure.
This is Parkour without walls.
Learn to move through the world you actually live in.
